This solo performance is an innovative blend of dance, theatre and comedy celebrating the beauty found in absurdity. In a world where ego-driven homosapiens are constantly seeking meaning, goals and purpose in everything, this performance invites audiences to come together to laugh, reflect question and embrace the nonsensical.
About the artiste:
Ashish Karnawat is a performing artist specializing in contemporary dance and physical theatre with a distinctive focus on curating humor through body movements objects uncertainty and absurdity. Holding a one-year diploma in Contemporary and Interdisciplinary Art Practices from Moksha Art Space in Bengaluru he has had the privilege of working under the mentorship of both national and international choreographers. Their experience spans a wide range of dance and theatre productions and their artistic practice challenges societal conditioning while exploring human potential through the lens of absurdity and humor.
He was also honored to participate in the International Visitors Programme at the Tanzmesse Festival in Düsseldorf Germany in August 2024.
