Did a space rock six miles wide slam into the Earth 66 million years ago and wipe out 75% of all living species at that time, including the dinosaurs? Explore the impacts and cosmic collisions across the Solar System in this dynamic show. It includes footage from the first iridium layer found in Gubbio, Italy.
Admission is $8 for adults or $7 for Parkland students, seniors 62 and older, or children 12 and under. Passes may be purchased at tickets.parkland.edu or in the lobby beginning a half-hour before the first show. Members of the Friends of the Staerkel Planetarium are admitted for free.
There will be no public shows the weekend before Memorial Day, May 24 and 25.
