Dickey Ridge Group Run (Shenandoah National Park)

THIS WEEK: Dickey Ridge!
WHEN: June 30 @ 6:30 PM
WHERE: Dickey Ridge Trailhead just outside Shenandoah National Park's N entrance (Skyline Drive, Front Royal, VA). Park on the shoulder near the Dickey Ridge sign.
ROUTE:
-The Dickey Ridge segment is 3.8 miles with 1,263ft of climb on slightly rocky single track trail.
-The segment begins at the Dickey Ridge trailhead at north entrance to Skyline Drive and ends at the Visitor Center flagpole (on the right in a clearing at top of mountain).

- We will run in staggered starts (faster people at the back) so we all arrive at the top at approximately the same time. We'll walk to the overlook to enjoy the view & grab a group photo and then jog back down as a group- either on the trail or on Skyline Drive (group's choice).
OTHER:
-Park on the shoulder of Skyline Drive before the North entrance.
-You are required to have a National Park pass. Come early to obtain one at the entrance station or check NPS website.
