We are excited to welcome SIMON EDWARDS and the DIBBLE STUDIO team to Queenstown for their respective exhibitions In Situ and Tributes & Pathways. Please join us for the OPENING PREVIEW and ARTIST TALKS by both Simon Edwards and Fran Dibble from 5pm, Saturday 20th September.Engaging both observation and memory, SIMON EDWARDS reimagines the Southern Alps. Blending plein air studies with studio reinterpretations he weaves together atmosphere, imagination, and place, capturing not just what the land looks like but how it is remembered and felt.
Conceived by Paul and Fran Dibble in 2012, DIBBLE STUDIO works were first released in 2013. This is the foundation of Dibble Studio that now, nearly two years after Paul Dibble's death, is having its inaugural exhibition. The narrative continuum begun by Paul is openly continued in this significant Dibble Studio exhibition and the journey continues as new pathways emerge.
