DIB in Business Roundtable

Launched during National Inclusion Week 2022, the Bright Red Triangle 'Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging in Business Roundtables' provide a space to explore some of the difficulties within the entrepreneurship community beyond that of individual business challenges. We're connecting with professionals and entrepreneurs for whom the system is not always accommodating for.

In September, we launched the roundtables with OutBritain, the first LGBT+ Chamber of Commerce, talking about supplier diversity opportunities - companies who have contracts specifically for working with businesses identified under a protected characteristic.

For our next session in January, we want to invite people from all communities who are on an entrepreneurial journey, or are business professionals, to talk reflectively about the previous year, or few years from a covid perspective: how has that affected your journey? Was it lockdown that inspired you to take your hobby further? Did it do the opposite? What were the challenges and successes? And most importantly, what does 2023 hold for your and your projects?

We're keen to hear from people who own businesses, charities, social enterprises etc, as well as those who want to take that first step, but are perhaps looking for more support.

We'll confirm more details nearer the time, but we are hoping to have business owners from the LGBT+ community, those from different ethnic backgrounds, and those who consider themselves to have a disability. The discussions will be facilitated by BRT.
