Join us for the 4th annual DiasporaCon! This one-day conference is dedicated to celebrating the radical and revolutionary spirit of storytelling through graphic novels, comics, zines and DIY publishing.This isn’t your average con. DiasporaCon is where the bold, the visionary, and the unapologetically creative collide. We’re diving deep into the radical power of graphic novels and comics from across the AfroDiaspora—stories that disrupt, reclaim, and reimagine.
Expect more than just panels and workshops (though we’ve got those too). This is a space for storytellers, artists, gamers, cosplayers, and culture-shifters to gather, build, and push the boundaries of what graphic literature can do. We’re talking hands-on sessions, live art, deep-dive convos with industry trailblazers, and a cosplay scene that’s as dynamic as the stories we celebrate.
DiasporaCon is for those who see graphic novels as more than just entertainment—it’s resistance, it’s legacy, it’s the blueprint for new futures. If you’re about that, you already know: pull up.

Those with access and privlege, we ask that you leave a donation from $15-30 (or more!)
VENDOR APPLICATION IS OPEN.
Priority is for graphic novelists, comic book creators, zinesters, diy publishers, illustrators, artists, vendors with Blerd merch, apparel and collectibles. Other vendors will be considered as space allows.
