About this Event
Join us on February 26th from 6:30–9:30 PM at Marché Rue Dix, a beautiful Black-owned café, boutique, and cultural space in Brooklyn, for an in-person information session on The Art of Reparations: Diaspora Journey.
This gathering is an opportunity to learn more about our upcoming journey to Senegal and The Gambia — a rites of passage experience rooted in reparative justice, cultural exchange, ritual, and collective healing. We’ll share details about the travel experience, the Reparations Convening in Dakar, the curriculum, and how you can participate or support the work.
We invite you to arrive early, grab a drink or a light bite from the café, and take time to shop and support this vibrant local Black-owned business before we begin. Let’s be intentional about where we gather and how we circulate our resources.
Whether you’re considering traveling, sponsoring a participant, or simply wanting to deepen your understanding of reparations as practice, we welcome you into the space. Come connect, ask questions, and explore how travel can be a tool for restoration, repair, and revolutionary love.
