Diaspora Focii Collective was founded in San Francisco to spread the healing power of improvisation ad indigenous musics. Drawn from several bands , the DFC plays a blending of Jazz, Psychedelic, Electro-acoustic Noise, Folk and World Music.
For our Scandinavian concerts we include Mika Pontecorvo (electronics, guitar, flute) a composer, instrumentalistist, artist; Jukka-Pekka Kervinen (guitar, electronics, wind conroller, violin) and Elijah Pontecorvo (electric 6-string bass) a instrumentalist, composer, dog walker. Our Norwegian guests will include bassists Georgia Wartel Collins and Guro Moe, plus other friends.
