Chef Marcelo, an Afro-Brazilian chef trained in Brazilian, Portuguese, and Italian traditions, is bringing a menu that honors the deep roots of Black Brazilian food—shaped by West African, Indigenous, and Portuguese influence.This is more than just dinner. It’s a sensory experience that invites you to slow down, gather in community, and taste history.On the menu:• Abará with pepper vinaigrette• Xinxim de frango – chicken stew with peanuts and dried shrimp• White rice, cowpea stew, and dendê farofa• White corn canjica with toasted coconut• Plus your choice of red or white wineWe’ll open with a short reflection to ground the evening in the ancestral and cultural roots behind the meal. Then we’ll eat together—some around a shared round table, others at cozy Japanese-style tables on the floor.The vibe is warm and communal, like gathering in someone’s home.
