The 'Queen Bee of Hustle' Diane k. Nardone is coming to the West Coast to share a very special Hustle class!Tuesday - April 28th / Intermediate Hustle Workshop 8-9:30pm / 9:30-11:30pm social / @ Motivo LA!
This class challenges the common perception of Hustle as a strictly linear or slotted dance. We’ll explore Hustle through a circular concept, focusing on rotational movement, spatial awareness, and how partners travel around each other rather than staying confined to a straight line. By shifting the perspective from slot to circle, dancers will discover new pathways, fluidity, and freedom within the dance.
About Diane:
Diane K. Nardone, widely known as the “Queen Bee of Hustle,” is a legendary dancer, instructor, and community leader whose career spans more than five decades. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Diane began dancing Hustle in the early 1970s during the dance’s formative years and was involved in the iconic film Saturday Night Fever, which helped propel Hustle into mainstream culture. Renowned for her ability to both lead and follow, Diane has played a pivotal role in shaping generations of dancers and has trained many respected professionals in the Hustle community.
From 2000 to 2011, Diane served as Event Director for the World Hustle Dance Championships, helping create a global platform that united the international Hustle dance community. Her influence as an educator has extended through teaching at countless events worldwide.
In recognition of her lifelong contributions to the dance world, Diane was honored with the prestigious Arte Phillips Lifetime Achievement Award. Despite her many accomplishments, she remains deeply connected to her roots, continuing to teach and share her knowledge with dancers in her local community. Diane dedicates her lifelong dance journey to her son, Christopher, and continues to inspire dancers worldwide with her passion, expertise, and commitment to the art of Hustle.
