Have you ever wanted to listen to live music under the incredible atmosphere of space? Check out the UTA Planetarium's 2025 Concert Series where we blend art with science.Join us for an evening of food, drinks, and live music in the planetarium dome featuring local artist Diana Rojas. Appetizers are included with the price of admission. Reception with food and drinks start at 6pm in the planetarium atrium and the concert starts at 7pm.
Diana Rojas is an interdisciplinary artist whose research explores human attempts and desires to engage with the invisible through installation, video, sound, and sculpture. Informed by her interests in philosophy, history, physics, and material science, she approaches the role of technology in art making as the catalyst for larger conversations of existence, consciousness, and metaphysics. Her work, which exists physically and virtually, has been exhibited, screened, and published nationally and internationally. She is the recipient of several OER Grants from the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education.
Diana was born in Mexico, received her MFA from the University of North Texas, and is an Assistant Professor of Sound Art at the University of Texas at Dallas.
There will be a cash bar while appetizers are included with the price of admission.
