We are extremely excited to welcome back international tango star Diana Cruz to Bury St Edmunds for two special workshops on Mon 3rd & Tues 4th August 2026.
Diana Cruz is an evocative and deeply expressive tango artist, known for her refined technique, emotional intensity, and luminous stage presence. With years of international teaching and performance experience, she brings a rare blend of precision, creativity, and authentic connection to every partner and piece of music.
Diana’s work places a profound emphasis on listening and embodied musicality. She offers dancers a deeply integrated understanding of movement and partnership, helping them move beyond patterns toward a more authentic form of expression.
Monday 3rd August: Changes of direction: Alterations (Intermediate level)
Tuesday 4th August: Linear vs Circular Giros. Turn to the left. Fluidity and Different Leaders Accompaniments (Fundamental/Improver level)
Doors open at 7pm for warm up
Workshop (90 minutes) 7:30 - 9pm, practica afterwards until 10:30pm.
Cost: £15 per workshop
No need to book or bring a partner.
Venue: The Hunter Club, Bury St Edmunds, IP33 3PH. Free parking on St Andrews St South outside the venue after 6pm.
