Diamond RC Mule Sale hotel block rate at the Country Club Inn & Suites is no longer available as the hotel is now booked. If you are looking for accommodations you can make an electric campsite reservation at the sale in the campground by sending an email to [email protected] with your arrival and departure date OR you can book a room the at the Days Inn with a new block rate of $71 a night plus tax. You can reach the Days Inn at (660)665-8244. You must tell them you are there for the Diamond RC Mule Sale to get on the room block rate.

♦️ Catalog Review dates/times ♦️
A Catalog Review is set for the evening hours of March 3rd 2023 from 6pm to 8pm and again the following morning of March 4th 2023 from 8am to 9:40am. The Catalog Review will be on a voluntary basis and for the sellers who wish to participate in showing off their cataloged mules. Only cataloged stock will be allowed in the Catalog Review. Weather and ground conditions permiting we will also be using the outdoor arena.
NOTICE: Catalog deadline Jan 18th 2023. Mail outs Feb 1. If you are interested in getting on the mailing list send your name and address to [email protected] with ”mailing list” in the subject line.

We have had several inquires reference paying with credit or debit cards for the catalog fee, camping or other purchases at the sale. The answer is “Yes you can”. There is a 3.5% fee added to any credit or debit card processing for the catalog fee. 5% fee for any camping, purchases such as tack and or mules at the sale on March 3rd & 4th.

Legalities: all livestock offered for sale is done so within the laws of the State of Missouri. Prospective buyers are advised to make examination of livestock prior to purchase.
Warranties: Seller warrants correct identity and title to each animal free from all adverse claims to ownership, use or possession and agrees to defend title against any claim. Seller warrants title and will disclose all known defects,lameness or faults before time of bidding begins. There is no guarantee of any kind as to the soundness of condition or any other quality of any animal sold except in the case where the seller makes a specific guarantee. In such case, the guarantee is strictly by the seller and not by Diamond RC Mule Sale. Right of recourse must be directly to the seller and not through Diamond RC Mule Sale. All vices, defects, deformities, irregularities, blemishes or unsoundness of any kind MUST be announced prior to the animal selling. Cribbers, weavers, unsound eyes and wind, cryptorchid, monorchidism, ridgling, parrot mouth, major surgery, serious illness and animals that have foundered prior to the sale, nerved or have lameness due to navicular disorder, joint or other bone abnormality, neurological disorder such as EPM or wobbles must be disclosed prior to the animal being sold. If an animal is sold with a condition that wasn't disclosed at the time of the sale the buyer has the right of return within seventy two hours of the time of sale with all the expenses going to the seller of the animal. Buyers have the right, at their expense, to have a veterinary examination performed by a mutually agreed upon veterinarian on any animal prior to the sale.
Catalog announcements and information: Every reasonable effort has been made to assure correctness of the information presented in the sale catalog. As an animal enters the sale ring all participating parties are advised to pay attention to the announcements made during the sale regarding changes or additional information that differs from information presented in the sale catalog. Announcements made while the animal is in the sale ring take precedence over the catalog material. Catalog and warranty information in the auctions process is provided by and is the sole responsibility of the seller. It is also the sellers responsibility to make certain that only correct statements are made public before or while the animal is in the sale ring.
Bidding procedure: The person making the highest bid recognized by the auctioneer shall be the buyer. If the highest bidder fails to comply with the conditions of sale or in the event a mistake is made by the auctioneer, the auctioneer reserves the right to resell the animal and such resell shall terminate all obligations of the auctioneer and the bidding buyer to honor any prior bid. If a dispute arises between two or more bidders teh animal shall immediately be offered for advance bids solely between those bidders. If there is no advance the animal shall be sold to the bidder the auctioneer recognised as the last bid. The auctioneer has the right to decline any bids made by parties who have defaulted in former purchases or by persons who in the auctioneer judgment are not responsible bidders.
Title and possession: Title passes from seller to buyer at the fall of the auctioneers gavel. Risk of loss, responsibility, maintenance, care and expenses for the mule or horse sold move immediately from the seller to the buyer at the passing of the title.The shall especially be the case in the situation of illness, injury or death of any animal after it has been sold. In the event of a return of an animal to the seller in accordance with the terms and conditions of the sale all risks of loss, injury, sickness, disease, maintenance and expenses pertaining to the animal pass back to the seller.
Settlement of account: Settlement of account for any purchase shall be made directly to the sales cashier by the buyer and is to be paid in full on the day of the sale. The terms of the sale are cash (us currency only) and payment is to be made in full on the day of the sale. Methods of payment shall be cash, cashiers check, personalized bank checks which have been verified and approved in advance by officials of Diamond RC Mule Sale. Debit or credit card payments at time of sale will have a (5%) five percent surcharge added to all debit or credit card payments. No postdated checks will be accepted. Foreign buyers must pay with US cash currency or preapproved personalized bank checks from a US bank. State issued Driver's license or a State issued ID are required for buyer registration and personal checks. No delivery of title will be made until final settlement has been completed. Upon payment by the buyer to the sale office the sales office cashier will issue a document to the buyer which will release the animal from the auction possession/grounds.

a sale transaction. There is no implied or expressed warranty made by Diamond RC Mule Sale or any representative thereof as to the marketability or suitability of any animal for any specific or particular purpose. Further, Diamond RC Mule Sale, or any representative, owner, agent or employee of, does not assume or accept any responsibility or liability for errors,or commissions, or for any statements, either verbal or written, regarding any thing or any livestock sold.
Binding arbitration: Any dispute, controversy,difference or other matter in question arising out of a claim pertaining to warranties shall be settled by arbitration between the buyer and the seller pursuant to the following procedure. Upon the auctioneer's determination that a claim under such terms of conditions of the sale has been timely and properly presented by the buyer pursuant to these terms and conditions of the sale, and upon notice from the auctioneer, the buyer and seller shall each select a licensed veterinarian. If such a veterinarian fails to agree promptly to the validity of the claim, they or the buyer and seller involved in the controversy shall agree upon a third licensed veterinarian. The
Third veterinarian fee, expenses and costs shall be paid by the party whose property the animal is determined to be. The panel of three veterinarians shall conduct any tests, investigation or examinations which they deem necessary and may at their discretion conduct a hearing by notifying the auctioneer to arrange for the hearing and shall by majority vote determine the validity of the claim.
Sellers: All paperwork must be complete and presented to the sale office. All original registration papers, signed transfers, breeders certificates shall remain with the seller until the animal enters the sale ring at which time all the paperwork associated with the animal must be presented directly to the auctioneer. If the animal sells the paperwork will be transferred by a Diamond RC Mule Sale “runner” and held by Diamond RC Mule Sale sales office until payment in full is presented by the buyer to the sales office at which time the paperwork will be released to the buyer along with a release paperwork to the new owner so that the animal can be removed from the auction barn. Current coggins and health papers (if applicable) must be in the sale office prior to the animal entering the sale ring. If paperwork is not completed prior to the animal entering the sale ring the animal will not be sold and appropriate fees will be charged to the seller. You are responsible for the accuracy of your animal catalog entry. Please verify sire, damn and any and all information pertaining to your animal.Report any errors to the sale office or auction block prior to the time of sale of your animal to ensure proper announcements are made. Hip numbers and stall assignments are designated by the sale and cannot be changed by the seller. If there is a stall issue see the check in man at the barn entry. Do not remove hip number from the animal once they have been applied. All animals offered for sale must have a current negative coggins test. Any animal offered for sale that has traveled from a state other than Missouri must also have a health paper dated no more than (30) thirty days prior to the sale. All vices, defects and deformities such as cribbing, weaving, parrot mouth, proud cut gelding, cryptorchidism ect must be announced prior to the animal selling. Buyer has the right of return with all expenses incurred to the seller if the animal purchased was not properly disclosed as having such a condition.
Buyers: Please register at the sale office for a buyer/bidding number. Carefully read the terms and condition of the sale for this auction. Carefully inspect any animal of interest prior to bidding. Listen carefully to all announcements made from the auctioneer and seller. Animals become the buyers responsibility at the fall of the auctioneer gavel. To remove an animal from the sale grounds you must obtain release paperwork from the sales office.THIS IS FOR ANIMALS PURCHASED OR ANIMALS THAT WERE PO “NO SALE” ALSO. ORIGINAL SELLER MUST OBTAIN RELEASE PAPERWORK FROM THE SALES OFFICE SAME AS A PURCHASING INDIVIDUAL TO REMOVE ANY ANIMAL FROM THE AUCTION GROUNDS.
Please confirm that the release paperwork represents the correct hip number. Be sure to give the release to your agent or whoever will be responsible for removing the animal from the auction grounds.
Payment: Buyers must pay for tack and/or animals on the day of the sale. Sellers with a po/no sale animal will need to pay po fee to obtain release paperwork for the animal. Any seller who had their animal cataloged will not be charged po fee as that fee, first night stall fee and first bag of shavings is covered under the catalog fee.
PAYMENT TO SELLERS WILL BE MAILED OUT WITHIN (7)SEVEN BUSINESS DAYS OF THE DAY OF THE SALE.
Check in: All catalog animals must be checked in by 7pm Friday.
Catalog Review: Catalog review from 6pm to 8pm Friday and 8am to 9:40am Saturday. The catalog review is voluntary, not mandatory. Only cataloged animals will be allowed to enter the sale ring or arena during the catalog review times for both Friday and Saturday. Non Cataloged Animals: All non cataloged animals can be brought into the sale ring at 8pm to 9pm Friday and for a one hour period on Saturday during the break between the catalog sale and the non catalog sale animals. Time of the one hour break will be determined by the last cataloged animal being sold. An announcement will be made from the auction block the time the non cataloged animal sale will commence.
NOTICE: Diamond RC Mule Sale is a smoke free facility. All dogs must be leashed while on auction grounds.
LIABILITY: Diamond RC Mule Sale and nor NEMO Fairgrounds are liable for injuries sustained by anyone attending the auction or on the grounds during the sale days, Buyers, Sellers and spectators are to use caution while attending the sale and enter the premises at their own risk.
