Since 2021, Diamond Blues, an eclectic group of accomplished musicians passionate about creating the ultimate Jam Party experience has taken Boston by storm
Led by David Rubin on Vocals & Guitar, Diamond Blues features Madolyn Allison on Vocals & Percussion, Robbie Parish on Drums, Ian Brenkle on Bass, Caroline Killoh on Vocals & Keys, and Christopher Belden on Sax With special guest Will Lombardelli on Trombone.
DB, as it’s often called by fans, started by playing the Jerry Garcia Band repertoire and has since expanded to add in Trey Anastasio band Songs for an experience that unites the classic with the new. Our ultimate goal is to provide the ultimate jam show and in our quest, we traverse through the full jam catalog of the Grateful Dead and Phish to accomplish this. Experience such mashups as Ocelot -> Scarlet Begonias, Moma Dance->Dancing in the Streets, After Midnight -> Push on till the Day.
Join Diamond Blues at one of their residencies! Catch them at The Burren in Somerville (the 2nd Sunday of the month) and at The Midway Cafe in JP (4th Wednesday of the month). How sweet it is!
