Diagonal Dance Workshops

In these workshops, you will learn or revisit , a 3-minute dance piece inspired by the Dance Diagonal mural painting. We will dance on the pavement outside Towner, so I strongly recommend wearing trainers with thick soles for good cushioning! There will be time to edit and refine what we choreographed last autumn, but overall, the structure of the choreography and the music composed by Ruby Colley will remain the same. After two 2-hour workshops, you will perform this Diagonal Dance to an audience on Sunday 5th May, as part of my Performance Path - Spring Route.

I need 6 or more sign ups to run these workshops, and can have up to 20 dancers involved. Depending on the group size, we might have extra support from Keil Morris for the workshops and performance day.

Tickets are now on a sliding scale from £15 to £25 per session, or £30 to £50 in total. I added a supporter ticket because this year's workshops are not subsidised by any grant funding. Please choose the option that feels right for you. I look forward to dancing with you (again)!
