Sheltering Arms Institute, in partnership with The SPAN Center, are offering a 6-week evidence-based diabetes education class. Adults with diabetes, friends, family members, and caregivers are welcome to participate.This workshop, held each Thursday from 1- 2:30, will focus on:
• Nutrition and healthy eating
• Preventing Complications
• Working with your health care provider
• Nutrition and healthy eating
• Skin & foot care
• Preventing/monitoring low blood sugar
