THIS IS A FREE EVENT!Celebrate life, memory, and tradition at Amarillo’s official Día de los Muertos Festival, presented by the Amarillo Council for the Latino Arts (ACLA). This family-friendly cultural festival brings together art, food, fashion, and community in an immersive experience unlike any other in the Panhandle.
Highlights include:
Catrina & Catrín Costume Contest (Adults) with a runway-style fashion showcase
Kids’ Costume Contests - Catrinas and Alebrijes, all made with recycled materials to celebrate creativity and sustainability
Art Installations & Community Ofrenda honoring loved ones
Mercado de Arte & Vendors featuring artists, makers, and unique Día de Muertos items
Food Trucks & Local Vendors serving traditional flavors, including pan de muerto
Activities for Kids (crafts, games, and family-friendly fun)
Immersive Experiences & Pop-Up Shows throughout the venue
Live Music & Dance Performances across the evening
Presented by: The Amarillo Council for the Latino Arts (ACLA), with support from community partners, sponsors, and volunteers.
