About this Event
Dhyan Foundation Gardener Talk: Growing Saffron and Traditional Composting
Dhyan Foundation is hosting an educational gardening talk next Sunday, October 19, from 12:00–2:00 PM at the San Jose Public Library – Tully Branch.
We’ll explore how saffron, the “golden spice,” is cultivated and harvested, and how cow-dung composting can create natural, fertilizer-free soil for your home garden.
The session will also feature tips and examples of vegetables, fruits, herbs, and flowers—from corn and chilies to calendula and cosmos—all grown without synthetic inputs. 🌱
