With utmost exuberance, we present to you the Dhaka University Diplomatic Conclave 2025, scheduled to be held on 14th and 15th February. As a Model UN conference exclusively organized for the students of the University of Dhaka by Dhaka University Model United Nations Association(DUMUNA), it has been thriving as a platform of leadership development, youth diplomacy and introduction to the Model UN arena.
Faced with the great opportunities and grim realities of the post revolutionary landscape in our own homestead as well as other parts of the world, one cannot overlook the sufferings of marginalized communities and the urgent need to address their situations. With due considerations accredited to that factor, the theme for the conference is set to be the following, "Consolidating the Commitments towards Marginalized Communities in the Post-Revolutionary Reformation."
Staying consistent with the theme, the following committees have been made available for selection for this edition of DU Diplomatic Conclave:
1. United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC)
2. United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR)
3. United Nations Permanent Forum on Indigenous Issues (UNPFII)
4. Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)
5. Interim Government of Bangladesh
DU Diplomatic Conclave aims to hone the 21st-century skills of the students of the University of Dhaka through the practice of Model United Nations. The conference strives to provide the campus just the hint of the brilliance of Dhaka University National Model United Nations on a yearly basis and this time Conclave is back in all its glory.
