Dhaara Baithaki Series is an intimate cultural initiative dedicated to presenting music and the performing arts in a setting that encourages genuine connection between artists and audiences. Rooted in the idea of " flowing from the roots of rhythm and verse ", the series seeks to create a space where artistic expression can be experienced closely, away from the distance and formality of conventional auditoriums.

The inaugural edition brings together a talented group of emerging young artists who have been rigorously training in their respective disciplines and are steadily establishing their artistic identities. The evening will feature a thoughtfully curated selection of performances that celebrate the richness of Indian musical traditions while highlighting the voices of a new generation of performers.

Inspired by the age-old culture of the Baithak, this gathering is designed to be warm, interactive, and immersive. Audiences will have the opportunity to experience not only the performances themselves but also the stories, inspirations, and artistic journeys behind them. The format encourages a sense of shared participation, making every attendee an integral part of the experience.

Organised and curated by Shinjini Ghosh and her team, the Dhaara Baithaki Series is an extension of a larger vision to nurture meaningful cultural spaces and support emerging artistic voices. Shinjini is also the curator of the Dhaara Manch Festival, and through these initiatives aims to build platforms that celebrate artistic excellence while fostering community, dialogue, and cultural exchange.
