The Second Fall Retro Computing Meetup of 2026 will be on Saturday, November 7th. Brought to you by the DFW Retro Computing group and the Vintage Computing Collective of North Texas. Sponsored by Mouser Electronics who has graciously donated to cover the cost for the venue rental.
The meetup will begin at 12:00pm and end at 4:00pm and is taking place at the South Irving Library. When entering the main entrance of the library, the meeting room is to the left. Please be mindful of other library patrons and ensure that equipment does not damage doors, walls or other patrons of the library.
Important Notes:
Due to the limited amount of space available, please limit the items you bring to only the most essential items. There will be a free table, but likely smaller than usual and MUST be cleared when the meetup is complete. And power availability will be more limited than usual, so please consider the amount power your items will consume so we don't overwhelm the limited power in the room.
As on prior meetups, you are welcome to bring your items for swap, sale, or giveaway. However, you must ensure that all items are removed from the venue at the end of the meetup. We cannot leave behind boxes of donation items.
You are welcome to bring family. If you bring young children, please supervise them.
When parking, please be careful to observe the parking lot markings, and only park in marked parking spaces.
Food options at the library will be limited and are still being discussed so we encourage you to plan accordingly given the duration of the meetup.
We look forward to seeing all of you there!
