DFW Metro NAACP: Dinner & Democracy Lab: Election Protection

A community training focused on voting rights, Election Protection, and preparing volunteers and voters for the upcoming Midterm Elections.
About this Event

Join DFW Metro NAACP for our October Dinner & Democracy Lab, an evening of civic education, hands-on training, and community action.

This month’s Democracy Lab will feature two practical trainings designed to equip community members with the knowledge and tools to protect voting rights, organize effectively, and take action in their communities.

⚖️ Election Protection Training with Attorney Khanay Turner

Learn about voting rights, common issues voters may encounter at the polls, election protection resources, and what community members can do when voting problems arise.

📣 Community Organizing Training with President Crystal Bates

Learn practical strategies for building relationships, identifying community concerns, mobilizing people around shared issues, and moving from concern to organized action.

Attendees will also have an opportunity to put what they learn into action during our Phone & Text Banking Party.
