Dear Parents of Third Graders,Sunday, October 3, your child will be receiving his or her Bible during the worship service. Bibles can be presented in any service, whether at 8:45, 11:00 Traditional or 11:00 Modern. You need only let me know which you prefer.
The children will practice Sunday morning, October 3, at 9:30. Please meet me in the atrium for general instructions, then a quick run through. Please have your child here so he or she knows what to expect during the service.
The children will sit with you during the service, prior to receiving their Bibles. They will come forward to take their place during the "Welcome" in "Modern", or during the "Children Moments" in Traditional.
It is an honor for Dalton First United Methodist Church to present your child with their own copy of God's Word as they continue their spiritual journey. I hope you will be here October 3rd for this important event in the lives of our children and the life of the church. If, however, your child will not be at church, please contact me at 706-278-8494 ext. 103 or by email at [email protected]. I will make arrangements to get their Bible delivered.
