This is not a typical concert. It’s a chance to witness the creative process as it happens — microphones up, tape rolling, and musicians capturing performances that will become part of their upcoming record. The music recorded this night will be released as Dezron’s next album, meaning the energy in the room — including yours — becomes part of the recording itself. One day you may hear these songs pressed to vinyl, streamed around the world, or played for years to come… and remember you were there when it was made. Step inside the studio. Bassist Dezron Douglas, a Hartford, Connecticut native, studied at the Hartford Conservatory of Music and The Hartt School under legendary saxophonist Jackie McLean. A celebrated bandleader and sideman, he has released six albums and performed with artists including Ravi Coltrane, Cyrus Chestnut, Louis Hayes, George Cables, Brandee Younger, and Beyoncé. A longtime member of the Ravi Coltrane Quartet, Douglas was named DownBeat’s 2019 Rising Star Bassist and appeared on the magazine’s 2020 cover. In 2021, he joined the Trey Anastasio Band, succeeding the late Tony Markellis.

Seating: This is a very intimate performance setting with an extremely limited number of tickets. General Admission seats are first come first served.

Parking is available in our lot on a first come first served basis. Please do not park in the spaces labeled “Residents Only”. There is FREE street parking on Park Street, Chadwick, and surrounding streets.
