DEVINCI HOUSE VOL 3: BEAUTY CAN SAVE THE WORLD

In 1869, the European novelist Fyodor Dostoevsky coined the phrase, “Beauty will save the world.” In our moments of pain, despair, and brokenness, something captivating can become a healing balm. But why is beauty important? The feeling of captivation is something everyone longs for but few find. What if beauty is the very thing that could break down the walls of cynicism and division? There must be beauty in life before anything else, and it has a way of sneaking past the defenses we’ve built, speaking directly to us. There must be a fire that continues to burn. This is why art is so important—it can reach places we could never get to on our own. It’s something that transcends the ordinary and touches our humanity.
“Beauty can save the world” is the theme for Devinci House Volume 3. This exhibition features local and regional artists along with a guest artist from Sweden. This curation embodies beauty in all of forms with new works from each artist. This is our last exhibition/show of the year and we hope to see you there.
