ABOUT DEVIN
A native of Miami, Florida, hornist Devin Salazar began his musical studies at the age of ten through the South Florida Youth Symphony. He continued his studies in horn at Miami Dade College and performs throughout South Florida area including the Symphony of the Americas and serving as Fourth Horn of the Florida Grand Opera Orchestra. Devin has taken part in multiple masterclasses with artists including Annie Bosler, Kevin Reid, Scott Strong, and Scott Leger, and he has participated in several summer festivals including the Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles, Eastern Music Festival, Miami Beach Music Festival, and the Atlanta Horn Festival. Devin is currently in his final year of his Bachelor of Music degree here at Lynn, in the studio of Professor Gregory Miller. In his spare time, Devin enjoys lifting weights, cooking, and spending time with friends.
