In DEVIATED THEATRE’s original dance opera ‘Beyond’, Luna the Astronaut faces a dust storm on the planet Mars. Suspended between life and death in the middle of our solar system, she realizes the more profound journey has actually been her inner one. With the help of a personified mother time, she reflects on her life as a child, battles figments of her own mind, and surveys all the moments leading up to now. For so many astronauts, the biggest game is the mental one. And for Luna, getting lost on Mars is part of being found.
