This four-week short course will help you work on your ideas for your novel. You will learn how to flesh out your characters, fine-tune your setting, and develop your plot. You will begin to advance your skills through sharpening your prose and editing your work. We’ll look at the practicalities of writing: motivation, making time to write, when and how to get feedback, and – most importantly – how to keep going when you start losing your way. You will be encouraged to talk about your own novel, and given practical advice to help it develop and grow.Please feel free to bring along a packed lunch to enjoy in your lunch break, tea and coffee will be available in the workshop room.
