Developing a Whole Family Approach Stakeholder Event

A whole family approach requires everyone to consider the needs of all family members and to help them get the support, individually and collectively, they need to stay together, where possible, and ensure that children get the best start in life.

Family members have a right to be included in their loved one’s treatment and care and to the support they need to do so.

Families have a right to their own support and help for their own recovery.

This event brings together children and families services, family support and adult drug and alcohol treatment to understand what our responsibilities are, the supports available to develop practice and plan how to integrate this into hub functions to provide the holistic support required.
