Machine Learning for Creatives: Exploring AI with ml5.js (In-Person)

Machine learning isn't just for data scientists! Madison Cuellar, Cloud Engineer at FPL, will introduce you to ml5.js, a beginner-friendly JavaScript library that makes machine learning accessible for creative applications. In this workshop, you’ll explore how AI models can be used in art, design, and interactive experiences—and you’ll even build your own interactive drawing project powered by machine learning!

Madison Cuellar is a Cloud Engineer at FPL and a proud Florida State University alum with a degree in Computer Science. A product of Girls Who Code, Madison is passionate about making tech more accessible and regularly volunteers with organizations that empower future coders. When she is not working in the cloud, she enjoys using code to create fun and artistic projects that blend technology with creativity.

Fun Fact: Madison also enjoys exploring the little-big world of our local bug ecosystem! Her favorite? The orchid mantis—both cute and deadly! 🦗🩵
