Belgíska rokksveitin dEUS heldur tónleika á Íslandi.
dEUS mun stíga á svið í Austurbæjarbíó þann 2. október næstkomandi og flytja efni af fyrstu tveim plötum sveitarinnar, Worst Case Scenario (1994) og In a Bar, Under the Sea (1996). Tónleikarnir eru hluti af sérstakri tónleikaferð sem ber heitið Worst Case Versus In A Bar og hefur dEUS ferðast til útvaldra borga í Evrópu það sem af er ári. Reykjavík er síðasti viðkomustaðurinn á þessu tónleikaferðalagi.
Á dagskránni verða helstu lög platnanna, auk laga sem hafa aldrei áður verið flutt á tónleikum. Þetta er ekki aðeins nostalgíuferð, heldur endurvakning tveggja platna sem hljóma enn jafn ferskar, kraftmiklar og tímalausar og þegar þær komu út.
dEUS eru: Tom Barman, Klaas Janzoons, Stephane Misseghers, Alan Gevaert og Simen Følstad Nilsen.
Hljómsveitin Ensími mun sjá um upphitun en hún fagnar 30 ára starfsafmæli á þessu ári.

dEUS is coming to Iceland to perform in Austurbæjarbíó on October 2nd.
The Belgian band dEUS performs a full show of tracks from both albums, from a time when MTV’s Beavis and Buthead couldn’t get their heads around this new, raw and intense sounding band.
In 1994 & 1996 in quick succession, dEUS releases 2 groundbreaking albums (Worst Case Scenario and In a Bar Under the Sea) that changed their lives and those of thousands of fans radically. Now, Belgium’s most influential rock band has gone back to where it all began with a thrilling tour dedicated to the early years of the band, when the eclectic blend of rock, jazz, and experimental sounds shook the European music scene to its core.
Not necessarily played front to back but featuring all the bangers and never played before tracks, this isn’t just a nostalgic trip — it’s a reawakening of two records that still sound as urgent and relevant as ever. It’s a generous set featuring only tracks from both albums on limited dates in select European Cities and ending in beautiful Reykjavik.
