Healing Through the Holidays | November 20–22, 2026 | Detroit, Michigan
LET’S HEAL TOGETHER. 💜💛
Detroit Soulstice Weekend Experience is a three day community experience centered around remembrance, healing, connection, celebration, gratitude, and giving back.
Presented through a collaborative effort between Black Masc United, Black Femmes United, United in Art Initiatives, and The Mouthy’s, Soulstice creates intentional spaces for our community to honor where we’ve come from, celebrate where we are, and build toward where we’re going.
The weekend is hosted by Graison Golden of Black Masc United, Racquelle Golden of Black Femmes United, and Seven King of United in Art Initiatives, bringing together community, creativity, culture, and lived experiences for a weekend designed to remind us that we don't have to heal alone.
🕯️ FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 20
ROOTED IN REMEMBRANCE
Doors Open: 10:00 AM | FREE
We begin Soulstice by honoring those who came before us.
Rooted in Remembrance is an intentional space for reflection, ancestral honoring, storytelling, grief, gratitude, and healing. Together, we create space to remember the people and experiences that shaped us while celebrating the legacies that continue to live through us.
Come with an open heart. Leave with a deeper connection to your story, your community, and yourself.
🪩 SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 21
DETROIT SOUL SOCIAL
Doors Open: 8:00 PM | $20
It's time to celebrate Black joy, connection, culture, and community.
Detroit Soul Social is an evening of music, dancing, laughter, good energy, and grown folks coming together to simply enjoy themselves.
And that's not all...
🎙️ THE MOUTHY'S LIVE STUDIO PODCAST PANEL
The Mouthy's will bring the podcast to the Soul Social with a LIVE studio podcast panel, creating an opportunity for real conversations, real perspectives, and plenty of Mouthy energy while celebrating the people in the room.
Come dressed to express yourself, bring your people, and get ready to socialize, celebrate, and talk your talk.
🦃 SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 22
FRIENDSGIVING
Doors Open: 2:00 PM | FREE
We close Soulstice by breaking bread and celebrating the power of community.
Friendsgiving is about creating a table where everyone has a seat.
Come enjoy food, fellowship, gratitude, conversation, and connection with friends, chosen family, and community.
💜 WHAT TO EXPECT Because sometimes healing looks like a meal, a laugh, a hug, a story, or simply knowing that somebody saved you a seat at the table.
