Doors Open to The 8th Annual Back to School Empowerment Event & Resource Party

Info: Join us at the 8th Annual Back to School Empowerment Event for an exciting day filled with free resources and fun! We’re giving away 500 Sprayground brand bags, offering free haircuts for young men. Enjoy delicious free food and access valuable resources to kick off the school year with confidence. Don’t miss this opportunity for a day of empowerment and support!

Sprayground & Space Junk Brand Bags Distribution

Info: Students can select from 9 different bag styles. Each student must present a wristband with an intact first pull tab to receive a bag. If the tab is missing or detached, it is considered void, and the student will not be eligible to receive a bag. Please note, bags are distributed directly to students only; parents or guardians cannot collect them on behalf of the student

Empowerment Salon: Free Haircuts & Manicures

Info: Visit the Empowerment Salon at our event for free basic haircuts for boys and simple hair braiding for girls. Services are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early to secure your spot. Barbers will take 15 minute breaks at the start of each half hour.*

Empowerment Eats: Local Food Trucks

Info: Check out Empowerment Eats at our event, where local food trucks will be serving up free bites on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last. The student's second tab of their wristband will be detached for one serving. If the second tab is missing or already detached - it will be considered void and the student will not receive a food serving. Don’t miss out on a taste of delicious, complimentary food!

Info: Dive into Empowerment Entertainment at our event, featuring local DJs, bounce houses, and face painting! Enjoy a variety of fun activities and entertainment scattered across the grounds for an exciting day of celebration and joy.
