Detroit Is Me: Empowerment Volunteer, Vendor & Sponsorship Registration

Volunteers - Sign up for one of the stations in order to help organize the impact we'll make on this awesome day! From check-in, bag distribution, nail painting, quality control - there's something for everyone to do!

Vendors - Doesn't matter if you're a food truck coming to pass out samples to the students - or setting up on the concourse to hand out info and sign people up for services...that's the sign up for you! Food Vendors** if you're donating your product to the empowerment event (free) then you would need to sign up under sponors!

Sponsors - We couldn't do this without you -- truly! Thank you for joining us in making sure these Detroit students feel loved for no other reason than they're from our awesome city - and born to acheive! We’re giving away 2,000 Sprayground/SpaceJunk brand bags, offering free haircuts for young men, and providing manicures for young ladies. Enjoy delicious free food and access valuable resources to kick off the school year with confidence. Don’t miss this opportunity for a day of empowerment and support!

Info: At the 7th Annual Back to School Empowerment Event, students can select from over 10 different bag styles. Each student must present a wristband with an intact first pull tab to receive a bag. If the tab is missing or detached, it is considered void, and the student will not be eligible to receive a bag. Please note, bags are distributed directly to students only; parents or guardians cannot collect them on behalf of the students.

Info: Visit the Empowerment Salon at our event for free basic haircuts for boys and simple manicures for girls. Services are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early to secure your spot. Doors close an hour before the end of the event so professionals & volunteers have enough time to complete services.
