Artists are welcome to apply to DETOURS a juried group exhibition! The show will be held at Zeke’s on Granby from Oct 1st-Oct 31st. Opening night will be Oct 16 Friday 6pm-10pm during NEON Nights✨!
You could win “Best in Show” with a cash prize of $100 or an honorable mention of $50 🤩!! This exhibit will be juried by Nana Ferdnance, the Visual Arts Manager of the Suffolk Center for Cultural Arts.
“DETOURS” is especially fitting since construction is affecting the NEON district. The idea is that unexpected routes often lead to the most interesting discoveries. Artists could explore:
🛑Life changes
🛑Wrong turns
🛑Chance encounters
🛑Alternate paths
🛑Happy accidents
It turns the district’s biggest obstacle into part of the story.
We hope to get a lot of artists on the wall! Artwork must be 10in x 10in or smaller 😃!
