Join us for Destress Davidson, a proud community wellness event

presented in partnership by NAMI Charlotte and the Town of Davidson. This uplifting,

community‑centered afternoon is designed to support wellbeing across multiple

domains of health—offering activities, resources, and services that foster emotional,

physical, social, and mental wellness. This event is open to everyone, and we welcome individuals of all ages and backgrounds. Registration is strongly encouraged but not required to attend.

Event Format

Destress Davidson is designed as an open‑flow, community‑centered wellness experience. Rather than a single structured program, the event features a festival‑style format where attendees can explore various stations, activities, and resources at their own pace. The goal is to create a welcoming, low‑pressure environment that encourages connection, self‑care, and discovery.

What to Expect

 Engagement Activites: Multiple stations leading participants through arts and crafts activities, featuring a wide variety. All activities can be complete in approximately 15 min or less!

 Independent Activities: Attendees can participate in short, guided experiences such as

breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, light movement, or creative activities.

 Resource Providers: Local organizations and service providers will be onsite sharing

information, tools, and support services related to overall wellbeing.

 Community Engagement: Opportunities throughout the event to meet neighbors, talk with partners from NAMI Charlotte and the Town of Davidson, and connect with helpful community resources.

 Refreshments: Light refreshments and snacks available

 Open‑House Style Attendance: Guests may arrive and leave at any time during the event.

Registration is encouraged but not required.
