Destination Arts Integration 2025

Join Ohio’s Kennedy Center Partners in Education teams, Any Given Child site, the Ohio Alliance for Arts Education, the Ohio Arts Council, and the Ohio Teaching Artist Roster partners for two days of arts integration professional development.

Governor's Awards for the Arts Arts in Ohio Luncheon - New this year, celebrate the 2025 Governor's Award Winners at this biannual celebration. Join peers from all over Ohio to kick off Destination Arts Integration 2025

Registration is $75 - Includes all materials, registration for the Governor's Awards for the Arts in Ohio Lunceon on May 28, coffee/continental breakfast and lunch on May 29

Presented By - The Ohio Arts Council, Ohio Alliance for Arts Education, Art Possible Ohio, Ohio Dance, Ohio's Kennedy Center Partners in Education teams in Mansfield, Springfield, and Wooster, and Any Given Child Warren.

Workshops:


Supporting High-Quality Arts Learning - Policy, Resources, and FUNding in the Arts

Presenter: Helen Buck-Pavlick

Description: This session will explore resources that support high-quality learning and instruction in the arts. Learn about pertinent policies and programs, discover state and national resources, and explore funding opportunities available for arts educators.




Presenter Bio's:


Helen Buck-Pavlick (she/her) serves as the Fine Arts Education Specialist for the Ohio Department of Education & Workforce, as the Vice President of the State Education Agency Directors of Arts Education, and on the Board of Directors for the National Dance Education Organization. With over 20 years of combined experience teaching in K-12, higher-ed, and the independent sector, she is passionate about ensuring that all students have access to a well-rounded, high-quality education that includes the arts. Helen is a Ph.D. student at The Ohio State University studying Educational Policy, holds an M.F.A. in Dance from Arizona State University, an M.Ed. in Educational Foundations from Northern Arizona University, and a B.A. in Theatre Performance. She is a Registered Somatic Dance Educator, STEAM Certified Educator, 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher, and holds an Ohio P-12 license in Dance and Drama/Theatre.
