STREAM US Data Centers has just submitted a new application to build a 2.2 million square foot, 500 MW data center at STAMP in the Town of Alabama. This monster project would transform our way of life in the GLOW Region - and not for the better. Data centers, especially massive ones like this, negatively impact our quality of life:
-Higher electricity rates
-Air pollution
-Water pollution
-24/7 low frequency noise that travels for miles
-24/7 light
All while providing very few jobs for our community - and demanding huge tax breaks, too!
Come learn what is being proposed and how you can come together with your neighbors to raise concerns. There will be time for Q+A and discussion.
We'll provide light refreshments and you're also invited to bring a sweet treat to share.
