Join us for an evening of language, longing, and liberation. In celebration of Lonely Women Make Great Lovers and A Sharp Endless Need, writers Keetje Kuipers, Mac Crane, Evelyn Gill, and Carly DeMento will share poetry and prose that explore the full spectrum of desire—tender, urgent, defiant, and wild.
Hosted by Sara Z. Phelps, the night begins with powerful readings and ends with a joyful dance party in true Verbatim spirit.
We’re also honored to welcome a local LGBTQ+ organization that will be on hand to share tangible ways to support and uplift our trans friends and family.
Come celebrate books, bodies, and chosen community with music, movement, and meaning. All are welcome!
We’re honored to welcome and support TransFamily Support Services, a local organization that guides transgender/non-binary youth and their families through the gender transitioning process to help make it the most positive experience possible. They provide family coaching, assistance with healthcare and insurance issues, help navigating the legal system, and support at schools.
