Their sound blends French and English vocals with shimmering synths, cinematic atmospheres, and pulsing rhythms that echo both disco and noir.

Johnny Jewel is a composer, producer, and the architect of Italians Do It Better. As the force behind Chromatics, Glass Candy, and Desire, he has defined a generation of synth-driven cinema, with music featured in Nicolas Refn’s Drive and Bronson, Ryan Gosling’s Lost River, and David Lynch’s Twin Peaks: The Return.
