Desinteresse
Desinteresse is a Dutch coldwave act consisting of Bart (bass), Joppe (drums) and Sem (vocals/synth/guitar). Formed in late 2022, the band initially released music as a duo, dropping their debut album Voor Altijd in April 2023 and the EP Ik Wil Dood Als Ik Het Vergeet in November 2023, both on cassette via their own label Decadence. Since 2024 operating as a trio, and despite only forming recently, they have already toured Europe multiple times and shared stages with Lebanon Hanover, Sad Lovers and Giants, She Past Away and other significant artists of the genre. In February 2026 they were invited to Grauzone festival for the second time, opening the main stage.
Their 7" single Grijze Dromen (August 2024) drew wide interest across the community in Europe and the US, marking the start of their album cycle. Following the second single Silhouet and its accompanying video, Greek label Fabrika Records signed them for their next album, released in September 2025. Their second LP Picture on Fabrika Records follows in October 2026.
Desinteresse record using original vintage equipment as a deliberate artistic choice. Their live performances evoke a cold, melancholic atmosphere — sound and voice not as primary elements but as amplifiers of something heavier, emphasising the weight of emotions that feel abandoned and unresolved.
Crush of Souls
Based in Paris France, Crush of Souls is the musical and performative endeavor of Charles Rowell. A voice straight out of the Bat Cave, Rowell croons and howls over melancholic chord changes and EBM rhythms while saxophones and synths stoke the flames of intrigue.
Crush of Souls is the musical and performative endeavor of Charles Rowell (Crocodiles, Flowers of Evil, Issue).
After relocating from New York to Paris, Charles has been pushing and morphing the project towards its current state over the course of the last years. But it wasn’t until he was living out of a hotel in north east Paris, a short stoned stumble away from La Station and Espace B, that Rowell found his inspiration for Crush of Souls. The city provided the background and the scene of friends who pushed his creativity even further. Now, three years later Rowell and his Parisian souls have toured the US extensively and performed at several high profile festivals in Europe; also supporting Buzz Kull and Harsh Symmetry.
There’s always been a thread of Darkwave, Gothic Rock and EBM running through all of Charles’ projects, however Crush of Souls pushes harder and further featuring cinematic modular synths, primal Wax Trax style beats, challenging noise passages and guitar chords that mix Ocean Rain with Floodland.
