Designing Deceptions - Teenager & adult session

Optical illusions share artistic and scientific appeal as they question our perception of reality. This fast-paced demonstration-packed talk explores how the mind can be deceived, and how optical principles, smart materials and even typographical word play can be exploited in magic effects. Dr Matt Pritchard, is two-time winner of the international “Best Illusion of the Year Contest”.

Suitable for teenagers and adults.

IF Oxford uses Pay What You Decide (PWYD) ticketing so you can choose to pay whatever you want, or can afford. You can make your donation during booking or after the event and the amount you pay is up to you. A suggested donation of £5 per person for each event enjoyed will help secure the future of the Festival.
