Design Thinking for Situations of Vulnerability

OCC invites you to explore creative solutions for vulnerable contexts 🌍

(Castellano abajo) Para este evento habrá dos grupos, uno dirigido en inglés y otro dirigido en español.

• For this event there will be two groups, one led in English and one led in Spanish.

Overview: This workshop is designed to train people with experiences of migration, refuge, exile, asylum seeking, as well as those belonging to sexual and gender diversity, to design tools and methodologies focused on social innovation.

Objective: To provide participants with skills in the design of innovative projects that respond to situations that affect communities in contexts of vulnerability and diversity, promoting their role in generating solutions from their experiences.

Structure: Participants are guided through the creative process, identifying problems and designing innovative solutions, culminating in a “Knowledge Fair” in which participants share their ideas and projects created throughout the workshop.

The workshop is directed at Migrants, refugees, people in exile, asylum seekers, and those who identify with diverse expressions of gender and sexuality, among other diverse groups and migration experiences, but all are welcome.😊

Date: Friday, November 8
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Place: Carrer Rec 27, Barcelona
Languages: Groups in English and Spanish (10-15 people per group)
Facilitators: Two specialists in social innovation and inclusive design.

• Para este evento habrá dos grupos, uno dirigido en inglés y otro dirigido en español.

Descripción general: Este taller está diseñado para capacitar a personas con experiencias de migración, refugio, exilio, solicitantes de asilo, así como pertenecientes a la diversidad sexual y de género, para diseñar herramientas y metodologías enfocadas a la innovación social.

Objetivo: Dotar a los participantes de habilidades en el diseño de proyectos innovadores que respondan a situaciones que afectan a comunidades en contextos de vulnerabilidad y diversidad, promoviendo su rol en la generación de soluciones a partir de sus experiencias.

Estructura: Se guía a los participantes en el proceso creativo, identificando problemas y diseñando soluciones innovadoras, culminando en una “Feria del Conocimiento” en la que los participantes comparten sus ideas y proyectos creados a lo largo del taller.

Esta dirigida a personas migrantes, refugiadas, personas en exilio, solicitantes de asilo y a quienes se identifican con diversas expresiones de género y sexualidad, entre otros grupos y experiencias migratorias diversa, pero todo del mundo esta bienvenida.
