Design the Future: 10-Day AfroFuturist Digital Arts Lab

Are you ready to build worlds that honor history and shape the future?

This summer, step into Cosmic Legacies, a high-powered, 10-day digital arts experience designed for young creators, artists, and storytellers aged 15–18. Over two intense, hands-on weeks, you will dive deep into the rich, imaginative realm of AfroFuturism—blending Black diaspora culture, technology, sci-fi, and liberation to create stunning, original digital art.

Course Type: Mobile & Desktop Animation Hybrid Course Level: Beginner to Intermediate Duration: 10 Days, 3 Hours per Day (30 Contact Hours Total)

Forget rigid, traditional pipelines. In this studio, you will work with an agile, cutting-edge multi-platform workflow using the tools you love:

• Concept & Texture on iPad: Sketch your visions and paint brilliant, high-tech textures directly onto 3D surfaces using Procreate and the Apple Pencil.
• Mobile 3D Sculpting: Mold original characters, tech, and cultural artifacts from digital clay right in your hands using Nomad Sculpt.
• Desktop Animation & Lighting: Bring your world to life on powerful Apple Silicon Mac desktops using Blender, where you'll master cinematic lighting, camera angles, and rendering.

• Duration: 10 Days | 3 Hours per Day (30 contact hours total).
• The Climax: You’ll walk away with a polished, 10-to-20-second cinematic animation vignette for your creative portfolio, showcased at our final "Cosmic Exhibition" for friends, family, and industry pros.
• Experience Needed: None! Whether you're a traditional sketcher or a casual tech lover, we start from the absolute basics.
