Workshop for teen girls to design prosthetic attachments using modular design and quick-release mechanisms
About this Event

Have you ever wondered how engineers turn ideas into devices that can help people? Join our workshop to explore prosthetic attachments with a certified orthotics & prosthetics assistant! Participants will build prototypes using modular design and quick-release mechanisms to learn about the design thinking process and to develop problem-solving and teamwork skills. This program is intended for girls ages 13-17.

If this date doesn't work for you, try the other prosthetic attachments session on March 21. If you're enjoying our workshops, check out the rest of this series at The Foundry!
