Design custom stickers

This workshop is perfect for beginners and anyone interested in learning to make merchandise or branding for their business. You will leave with 1 A4 sheet worth of sticker designs and participants are welcome to return to create more for a small fee.

What to Expect:

Cath will guide you step-by-step through the process, covering:

• Sketching and brainstorming ideas (please provide your own art software of your choice)
• Introduction to using Silhouette studio
• Setting up your files for a successful cut in silhouette studio
• A demonstration using Silhouette studio and sending your stickers to cut.

What You’ll Need:

Please bring a laptop and your art software of choice during the session (If you do not have this, there is an option to use Canva to create your designs). Sticker paper, pencils and cutting equipment will be provided during the session to print your designs.

Workshop Schedule:

• Total Duration: 3 hours 
• First hour: Design and brainstorm
• Second hour: creating stickers on Canva or an art software of your choice.
• Final hour: Setting up files in silhouette studio

This is a workshop for adults, however if participants under 18 are interested please be aware guardians must be present. 

About your tutor:

Your instructor, Cath Garvey, is a Freelance Illustrator based at Make Huyton with over 6 years of experience. Cath has collaborated with a wide range of organisations, businesses, and community projects across Liverpool. Her work is known for its ability to engage audiences and leave a lasting impact. Passionate about promoting art within communities, Cath is dedicated to sharing stories from working-class voices and encouraging creative expression for all.
