Join us at Scienceworks during Melbourne Design Week for Design Beyond Earth: A Future on the Moon, a fascinating look into how we can turn a figment of science fiction into reality.
First, kick back in the Planetarium and experience Moonbase - The Next Step, the immersive 4k full-dome film - and dare to dream how humanity can make a new home on the moon.
Then stay for our expert panel discussion, featuring the insight of some of Australia's leading life-in-space experts - including Frasier Thorpe, Education and Engagement Manager with Plants 4 Space, and CSIRO's Dr Matt Shaw, researcher in extractive metallurgy in the ultimate hostile environment: space.
