About this Event

Design and Print

<h4>Join us in The Hive at Darlington Library for a weekly supervised session where you will receive instruction in building 3D models free of charge.</h4>

Design your own models and bring them to life using our 3D printers. No previous experience is required, this free workshop is aimed at individuals of all levels of digital competency. You will learn the basics of design on TinkerCAD and design your model in one session, or save your progress and return to it over the coming weeks.

Once completed you will be able to print out your model on our 3D printers in a choice of colours. You will also have access to our 3D scanner to turn your own items into digital models.

Day: Mondays
Time: 3pm - 5pm

This is a bookable session and whilst it is free to attend the group there a scaleable charge to cover consumables. It is aimed at those over 18 although anyone underthe age of 16 is welcome to attend with someone over 18. Charges to print 3D models begin at £2.50.
