Design a Mobile Home: 1-day Camp (Oct)

Students get to explore other alternative forms of living in this 1-day Holiday Camp by building their own tiny home- a Mobile Home with us.

They get to think out of the box, where their home has wheels that will take them around the world; across cities, deserts and mountainous terrains.

Students learn a tiny home has lower environmental impact as it requires less materials to build, takes up less land, uses less electricity and produces less emissions, therefore making them more sustainable.

Their mobile home designs will consider energy efficiency, water collection and recycling features, raising awareness to design a sustainable home.

In the process of building up their ideas, children get to layout their floor plan and explore various materials to construct their designs in 3D.

DesignTinkers camps are thoughtfully curated and led by a passionate team of educators, architects and designers with a shared mission: to inspire and empower young minds through design. With extensive experience working with children, our instructors are dedicated to nurturing each student’s creative interests in a fun, engaging, and supportive environment. All our camps are held in our spacious and conducive classrooms where students can create and explore freely under guidance.
