Desi Singles Celebration: North & South Indian Edition (All South Asians).

Venue to be finalized - mostly will be in Mississauga.

Every South Asian is invited to this event and we invite only people with valid Canadian or American ID (drivers license). People will join from all over Canada, including Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto etc. Use only one email please to register yourself. Half filled forms will not be accepted.

Speed networking/ dating - very first time trying in Toronto BY dividing into two group. If we don't have enough people in one community we will combine everyone into one group called South Asian Speed Dating. This will be decided based on interest.

Event Schedule/ Agenda:

Round 1- each male and each female will get to meet each other based on the community you are in. Then you get to mix with singles from other communities. We may make it one large group if ENOUGH people are not there in each community.

Round 2 - Mixer with all communities

ACCOMODATION AND TRAVELING TO THIS LOCATION

1. Hotel we are trying to get a hotel near the venue where we will do this event and get you discounted room rates
2. Flights - we prefer people from local people usually come out but you can fly in, the more the merrier.
3. Guest expected - 100 count
4. Place to do the speed dating - will be walking distance from the hotel
5. Food etc. will be provided for the event duration. Lunch and Dinner included (TBD)
6. It's going to be one day event only
7. You can bring one wing person to attend last part of our event to close it off and introduce "why you should match with my friend ".
   

Rules about behavior:

Any rude behavior will not be tolerated and will result in immediate removal and banning from future events, with NO REFUNDS. PLEASE ASK ANY IMPORTANT Q TO OUR HOSTS.

Important:

These events are strictly for South Asians who are serious about building meaningful relationships. They are not casual hangouts, networking mixers, or hobby meetups. Anyone attending with the wrong intentions will not be welcomed at future events. Please respect the purpose of these gatherings and participate only if you are genuinely committed, especially at Desi Dreams events.

REFUND POLICY

• If mixer / speed networking event like this is happening you won't be given any refund.

• If refunds are approved read below:

Any refunds that are approved and completed will be for the price paid for the ticket less any "Eventbrite fees" or "Sulekha fees" and/or "platform service fees", both of which are payable to platforms where you paid. Each platform where you buy tickets mentions that in their rules of purchase.

Our refund policy acknowledges that events may undergo changes due to unforeseen circumstances, such as cancellations by attendees, inclement weather, natural disasters, venue issues or any health-related concerns.

We are under no legal obligation to host any event based solely on providing any related updates at any point in time.

In other words, our obligation to provide services is not absolute, under any circumstances.

Further, please be advised that a cancellation due to any of the above reasons may occur at any time before the scheduled event. If there is an event cancellation, any registered attendees will be granted the option for a full refund less any applicable fees, as explained above.

Other reasons for an event cancellation and any subsequent information pertaining to refund requests are listed below:

Sickness - A full refund, less any applicable fees, may be provided to registrants no less than FIVE (5) calendar days before the scheduled event date. If event date is postponed then also same rule applies.

Preference Changes - If a registrant changes his/her mind at any time after the purchase of a ticket for a scheduled event and/or subsequently does not attend a scheduled event, the registrant will be deemed a "no-show" and no refunds, under any circumstances, will be provided.

No show - in a different situation, if you buy a ticket and arrive at the venue / online but choose not to attend, please note that refunds will not be provided. You will be counted as a no-show. You can use the ticket as a credit to attend another event.

Format changes - we have the freedom of changing the event from an online to an in-person or vice versa based on the demand. Tickets will not be refunded if you have purchased for any one format.

Postponed - A full refund, less any applicable fees, may be provided to registrants if an event is postponed at any time before the scheduled day/time. We will ask you before if you want to get a credit or full refund.

Cancellations - A full refund, less any applicable fees, may be provided to registrants if an event is officially cancelled. A notification regarding the cancellation may be provided at any time before the commencement of an event which may be scheduled for at some point during a given month, week or up to the day/time of the scheduled event, itself.

Our responsibility with regards to refund requests extends only to purchased tickets and is strictly limited to the price paid for tickets, less any applicable fees. Any additional expenses incurred by a registrant such as (but not limited to) any kind of traveling arrangements or any related expenses thereof (flights, hotels, meals etc.) will not be reimbursed by our company.
